A government form asks everything of everyone. This one asks each business only what its entity type needs, in the order it can answer.
Instant Tax ID is a paid EIN filing service for US businesses: the customer answers a short guided version of the IRS SS-4, picks a processing speed and gets a Federal Tax ID back the same day. It had to make a government form feel like a checkout.
Every entity type answers different questions, so there is a separate guided application for each — LLC, corporation, S-corporation, partnership, sole proprietor, estate, trust, non-profit, church, personal service corporation — and three processing speeds from 24 hours down to minutes. I built the customer site and, alongside it, the staff fulfilment portal: filings land in a live queue, are assigned and processed by the team, and the completed SS-4 paperwork is generated and sent back.
The portal is the half nobody sees. It is what lets "instant" be a promise rather than a headline, because the queue is watched by people, not a timer.
