Client work pays the bills. This page is the other thing. When something annoys me enough, I build the fix and put it out in the world. Small tools, real itches, no roadmap.
Google Docs will not give you your image back.
You can put an image into a doc. Getting it back out is another story. Right click it and read the menu. There is nothing there that hands you the file.
So you screenshot it and lose the resolution. Or you download the whole doc as a zip of HTML. I did both for years.
One evening. One extension. Eighteen kilobytes.
Pixlift finds every image in the doc and hands you the original file. Copy it as a PNG, download one, or download all of them as a zip. Everything runs in your browser and nothing gets collected.
